StatusTune processes the video you choose inside your browser. No account is required by the app.

Selected videos and exports

The video picker reads your file into browser memory. FFmpeg WebAssembly encodes it locally. StatusTune does not send that video or the exported clips to a server, store a video history, or collect a gallery of your files. Close the tab to release the browser session; downloaded files remain wherever you saved them.

Website requests

Your browser downloads the page, images and video engine from the website. The hosting provider may handle request information such as your IP address, browser information and access logs as part of normal hosting. StatusTune uses Google Analytics to understand website visits. The hosting provider may also operate its own website analytics.

Google Analytics

Our production pages load Google’s Analytics tag (measurement ID G-Z0KKNJ2PPN). It measures website activity such as page views and may collect browser/device information, referring pages and approximate location. Google Analytics may use cookies to distinguish visits. Your browser connects to Google to load the tag and send measurement data.

The video encoder remains on your device: adding Analytics does not upload your selected video or exported clips to Google. StatusTune does not add custom Analytics events containing video contents or file names. You can block the tag with browser privacy controls or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Sharing and external links

If you use Share clip, your device’s share sheet sends the chosen clip to the app or destination you select. External links, including WhatsApp Help, have their own privacy policies. StatusTune is independent of WhatsApp and Meta.

Practical limits

Local encoding uses device memory and CPU. Keep the browser tab open while exporting. Only choose files you are comfortable processing on the device you use.
